Tom Atkinson

Trumpet/Flugelhorn/Cornet

For over 30 years, Dr. Tom Atkinson has been featured in various community groups, jazz bands, and symphonies in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Kansas City, and Orlando. With a degree in Music Education, his many talents include music technology, arranging, and trumpet performance. He has received recognition for many performances with brass groups at national and international competitions. Also, he has recorded over 15 albums and performed with numerous popular artists. His jazz influences include Clifford Brown, Miles Davis, Chet Baker, and Art Farmer.

J.R. Krisanda

James R. Krisanda, a.k.a. ‘J.R.’ has been performing for over 50 years. Classically trained as a college music major, and extending his musical palate with R&B, rock and JAZZ. For years J.R. has performed in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Renoe casino showrooms and lounges. J.R. has recorded and performed at many jazz festivals across the country, was well as abroad at the famous ‘Montreax Jazz Festival’ in Switzerland. His jazz influences include the likes of Grover Washington, Jr., Michael Brecker, David Sanborn, and Kirk Whalum.

Shelley Hicks

Vocalist

Shelley hails from London, England where she attended The Barbara Speake Stage School, which produced such celebrities as Phil Collins and Naomi Campbell. She moved to The United States, to the Maryland, DC area where she sang with several local bands and had the opportunity to sing background vocals for Jean Carne and Michael Henderson. Influences are Barbara Streisand, Anita Baker, Oleta Adams, Whitney Houston, Jill Scott, Eryka Badu to name a few.

Billy Charles

Billy Charles Langguth is a well known musician/entertainer in the Central Florida/East Coast music scene, having performed for 40+ years on both bass guitar, and vocals. Billy’s extensive musical knowledge enhances his smooth tenor voice for a wide variety of songs like Blood, Sweat & Tears, Chicago, Michael Buble, Bill Withers, Bobby Caldwell, Don Henley, James Taylor, and even The Allman Brothers. We are extremely excited to have Billy join us.
